Patrick Mahomes is entering his seventh season in the NFL and is already heralded as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Madden 24 marks his third time being selected as a member of the 99 Club. Five out of the seven passing-specific ratings for Mahomes grade 94 and above. Mahome’s skillset is extremely versatile and off the charts; 98 Throw on the Run, 97 Throw Power, 96 Play Action, 89 Break Sack, and 84 Speed. Mahomes is unstoppable in Madden 24 just as he has been every year.

Herbert is not a running quarterback but with his 86 Speed and 89 Acceleration ratings, he is more than capable of escaping defenders and extending plays for opportunities downfield.

Herbert played all 17 games of the 2002 season and threw for 4,739 yards and 25 touchdowns. The Chargers lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Wild Card Round 31-30 after leading 27-0. This was the third-largest blown lead in NFL playoff history. Herbert was ranked the 32nd-best player in the league by NFL.com.

This makes Rodgers almost impossible to stop.

Rodgers entered his 18th year in the NFL and his final year with the Green Bay Packers in 2022. He played in every game and passed for 3,695 yards and 26 touchdowns. Tua is a solid option at QB and would most likely rank higher if not for real-life injuries.

During the 2022 season, Tua only played 13 games due to injury. He threw for 3,548 yards, 25 Touchdowns, and 8 interceptions. Tua led the league in passer rating and passing average on his way to his first Pro Bowl selection. NFL.com ranked him the 82nd-best player in 2023.

Cousins doesn’t have the running ability of most quarterbacks on this list, but he has everything you need from a pocket passer.

Cousins played all 17 games in the 2022 season. He threw for 4,500 yards, 29 passing touchdowns, 14 interceptions, and two rushing touchdowns. He made the Pro Bowl for the 4th time and won the NFC North. Cousins threw for 273 yards, two passing touchdowns, and one rushing touchdown in a 31-24 loss to the New York Giants in the Wild Card Round.
