The Judicial Sentence Reduction Program allows inmates serving 30 days or more, having completed half their sentence, to petition the sentencing court for a 25% reduction on the remainder. Petition forms are available from corrections staff. The petition, along with a conduct report, is processed by corrections and rehabilitation personnel before being submitted to the Probation Department for recommendations and then to the sentencing Judge.

Inmate money is collected upon admission and deposited into an inmate trust fund. During incarceration, purchases from the commissary are deducted from this fund. Upon release, the remaining balance, minus medical expenses, is issued to the inmate. Inmate property is stored for 30 days upon transfer to another facility, with no release while in custody.
